Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) began a trend in ceramic designs in his imperial workshops that incorporated Western techniques. Blooming peaches were his favorite motif.

The plate is decorated with an opaque rose glaze that delivers understated beauty. It was among the fine arts and crafts that dazzled collectors during the online and offline event.

The auction's sales grossed 505 million yuan, and 40 percent of the transactions were made online.
