Li's work is known for its strength and vitality, his strokes done in quick, decisive manner. His calligraphy and seal art deliver "unsophisticated beauty and weight of accumulations over time", as Liu once noted.
The exhibition is on at the Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy until May 11.
