The Xiaohuangshan Relics are located in Shangdushan, Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province and cover an area of 50,000 square meters in the mid to lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The Xiaohuangshan Relics are believed to be the earliest Neolithic site to be excavated in the region and have provided clues to the development of the Neolithic age in China. Pottery, millstones, abraders and storing pits have been unearthed and help to paint a picture of Xiaohuangshan culture.
