The Shanghai Yueju Theatre has gone through a splendid history of 60 years, and today it walks into a new era. The successors of the old artists, for one thing, have inherited their artistic tradition, and for another, are bringing the classics to a new height with their new understandings of this art. Their performance on the NCPA stage has proved that this old opera has made new progress in the new century.
