閃(shǎn)

1.      Dodge; get out of the way

例：他一遇到困難就閃。

(tāyíyùdào kùn nán jìu shǎn)

As soon as he meets with difficulties, he dodges.

2.      Trick; fool

例：他們把我們給閃了，說好了今天都來這里，他們卻沒來。

(tāmēn bǎwǒmēn gěi shǎn le, shuōhǒo le jīn tiān dōu lái zhèlǐ, tāmen quèméi lái)

They tricked us. We had agreed to come here today, but they didn’t show up.
