This video shows how Lin Yuanyuan of East China's Nanjing, Jiangsu province, celebrates Spring Festival Eve with her family, which epitomizes typical Chinese traditions and customs for the biggest festival of the year.

Lin works away from home. On Spring Festival Eve, she traveled home to reunite with her family. Their festival activities start with shopping, cleaning and decorating the home, and making dumplings. They then enjoy the family reunion dinner while watching the annual Spring Festival gala together.
