The first “Happy Chinese New Year” Temple Fair was held at the Plaza Bolivar in Venezuela’s capital Caracas on Jan 28, 2017. The 82-year-old calligrapher Chen Houcang wrote more than one thousand “Ji” (character of the rooster) for audiences from 10 am to five pm to help Venezuelan citizens learn more about the Year of the Rooster.
